Federated Payments SVP of Sales Celebrates 6th Anniversary

Federated Payments, a leading provider of electronic payment solutions and related merchant services in North America, announced today the sixth anniversary of Scott Avery, Senior Vice President of Sales.

Scott joined Federated Payments in 2003 as an account executive where he personally signed up 270 merchants in just 7 ½ months. Scott moved up through the ranks supervising the Denver office where he managed up to 30 sales and telemarketing personnel at any given time. In April, 2006, Scott moved to Federated’s Melville NY headquarters where he was promoted to National Sales Manager. A year later, Scott was promoted again to Senior Vice President of Sales where he is currently responsible for managing over 400 sales and telemarketing professionals in the U.S. and Canada. A seasoned professional, Scott is heavily involved in training all sales reps on closing techniques and industry knowledge and always a phone call away for the management team and sales force.
